Courage, to me, is the search for authenticity and intimacy.
It is found in the friend who takes the risk to show up in the hard and difficult conversations.
The friend who braves deconstructing her own created narrative in search of true connection.
Rather than allowing the hazy barrier of untruths, she is brave and honest.
Her reward is a strengthened, renewed, relationship where both are seen, heard, and held.
This, to me, is courage.
